For the last four years I've been involved with the Colerain Township July 4th fireworks crew doing setup and shooting. There's nothing like shooting commercial-grade fireworks with a 12" road flare!

My two beautiful girls Morgan(7) and Riley(4).When Morgan was born we found out she was blind at 3 mos of age and had to have glaucoma surgery and two cornea transplants from a rare hereditary cornea disease. She has had a total of 19 surgeries and right now is doing well and playing sports just like her Daddy. Then there was Riley-she was born with a rare congenital heart defect (tetralogy of fallot) and had to stay in the hospital for the first two months of her life. She has had two open hearts and a total of 15 surgeries. She will have to continually have an upgraded valve added as she grows and routine maintenance check-ups. They are both "My Miracle Babies" and we host an annual Golf Event in their names.
Something Interesting in the last 20 Years::
I won a once in a lifetime online contest called philsonthephone.com and basically 16 people got a chance to play in a foursome with Phil Mickelson, Brett Favre, and Toby Keith. They flew me and my family down to The Doral Golf Club in Miami,Florida and got to play the infamous "BLUE MONSTER" twice. After shooting the lowest round 77 the first day, I made it to the final four. But choked in the final round with an 85 and lost my chance to come back and play in a Pro/am( and oh yea the other prize was a new car). But it was still a great opportunity and trip and I came home with a new set of Callaway golf clubs.
From Rob:
I have been married to Melissa Kalous(92' grad) for 14 years and we currently live in Colerain Township. She is a stay at home mom because of our situation with Morgan and Riley but  she is heavily involved with Children's Hospital Family Advisory Board. I truly do not know what I would do without her -she is a wonderful mother and wife. I have been working at Joseph Toyota on Colerain Avenue for 17 years and have been a New Car Manager for 10 years. I am actually looking forward to the reunion and hope to see some of you there!

Not exactly sure. After my divorce in 2001, I moved to AZ - no job, no place to live, not knowing a soul, never stepping foot in the state - with whatever I could carry in my truck and made a life for 2.5 years. Did wedding/event planning out there, then moved back with my "puppy" (120 pound Rottweiler, Cassie), and have a house of my own. For now, that's probably my biggest accomplishment.
Something Interesting in the last 20 Years::
See above. Also, was involved with the Colerain Township Citizen's Fire Academy and was a founding member and the inaugural President of the alumni group. Things changed and I'm not involved any longer, but the fire service (and CTFD specifically) is still something I'm very connected and proud of. Also, got invovlved with Habitat for Humanity - Miami Valley Chapter - this past summer, and that's something I've been wanting to do for a while. Am a member of the Citizen's Emergency Response Team & Tri-State Medical Reserve Corps, though I haven't done anything actively with them in the last year or so.

Learning something new every day... My job affords me the opportunity to learn how most everything made in the USA is manufactured. We also manufacture products that clean air to protect workers and the environment, which is very satisfying. Raising three kids may not be my biggest accomplishment, but it sure as hell is my biggest challenge!
Something Interesting in the last 20 Years::
Been hunting in Montana wilds enough that I have been chased by a moose, stared down by a bighorn ram, and been close enough to a grizzly bear to smell him! There is nothing in the world as cool as being in the wild areas with bears, elk, antelope, mountain lions, wolves.... Everyone should spend a little time where you can't hear cars, planes, or even another person.

From Evonne:
Oddly, (or maybe not so odd) I am not listed as alumni.  Ah well.
I am now in Florida with my wonderful fiance Trevor but we hope to move to California soon.  I have no children.
As you can see by my photo, I haven't changed much in the way of looks, but I feel that the little immature sniveling girl that was in high school is long gone.

Getting my weight under control. The last 5 years has been awesome. Quality of life has improved beyond comprehension.
Something Interesting in the last 20 Years::
Over the last couple of years I have become passionate about public speaking. I speak/present at 3-4 conferences a year. Not sure where that came from !
From Shawn:

Let's see.. where to start.  Married my beautiful wife Amy in May'97.  She is a Northwest Grad, but I have learned to look past that.  We live in Colerain Township... for now.  We'll be moving out to Oxford/Talawanda in the next year or so.    We have 4 boys.   Twin 8yr olds, a 4yr old, and the 7 month old.   Our dog is even male... my poor wife is so totally out-numbered.   I received both my BS & MHSA from Xavier Univ.   I love to hunt & fish, but frankly all my spare time is spent coaching &/or transporting my boys to various sports, karate, or scouts.   And to think, we used to complain about a little homework when we were in school, boy we didn't have a clue about responsibilities !!
